Yeah Sea World!!! Just a quick Minication last weekend

We had been talking about going to SeaWorld all year and never pulled the trigger. The kids had a blast, and Shamu's show was amazing. First of all here's a few pictures of the room at the Residence Inn Marriot....it was fantastic. We would recommend it to anybody with a couple kids or if you just want extra space that's bigger than most apartments on a shoe string budget.

They really enjoyed the dolphins and all the flips / jumps of the whales. Daddy got to try out a new zoom lens too, which was awesome to capture some shots like never before.

Marshall rode his first "real" roller coaster, and Harper rode her first rides too. She loved the mini "dungeon drop" ride......she had her hands and feet up the whole time..squealing like a little girl should.

We had a really great time. Little piece of advice, you get free parking, which is $15 at the gate, only if you buy the Year pass for one person, do it online that way you don't have to pay at the gate just to find out once you get inside it could've been free.

Harper is 18 months old!

Harper is independent, determined, and strong. She is climbing on everything, trying to do everything that Marshall does, and fussing every time she can't. She is not great at sharing yet but not quite as bad as she was ;). She eats like a preschooler, loves playing outside, riding in the stroller and reading books. She has so many words (mama, daddy, milk, more, eat, no, mine, shoe, bath, outside, book, hi, bye-bye, choo-choo...) and has recently put two words together "mama shoe" and "bye-bye daddy". Stats: Weight: 28- pounds 6.5 ounces (95%) Height: 34.5" (>95%) Head: 49.9 cm (>95%)

4 already?

Sweet, gentle, inquisitive, smart, big brother, and car lover. Marshall is writing his name and most other letters, he is sounding out words slowly, swimming like a fish, diving for toys, and giving us a struggle almost every night at dinner. He loves playing with big kids and is good at sharing most things with his sister. He gets dressed and feeds Oscar most mornings and is a big help bringing his laundry to his room (sometimes puts it away too!) He has evened out size-wise, here are his stats: 37 pounds (50-75%) and 40.75" (50-75%).

15 months

I am behind many posts and many events have not been blogged on but I must talk about Harper at 15 months so I can always remember this stage. STATS: weight: 26 pounds 10 ounces, 90-95% height 33.5 inches >95% head: 49 cm >95% She is so busy, she just started school with Marshall and has done really well (side note: leaving home care was very hard and premature but not really by choice, our provider decided to go back to school...). She says many words: mama, dada, ball, banana, whoa and no; she says animal sounds for cow, horse, dog, cat, snake, lion, fish, monkey; she signs and says: milk, more, all done, bath and please. She has 6 teeth and went from eating anything and everything to being a little more selective. She still hates the car but is a little more tolerant. She loves to dance, read books, go outside and play with her brother.

Hill Country Hyatt

We went for a weekend trip to SanAntonio with Colin, Melissa and the girls. We had a great time and the weather was perfect for swimming, roasting marshmallows for smokes and watching movies in the great outdoors.
