Memorial Day Weekend

For the holiday weekend we went down to Pearland and stayed with the Millers. Seph even came down to spend the weekend with all of us. Marshall and Daniel are only 7 weeks apart in age and they get along really well (remember this post?). They held hands everywhere they went, it was so cute. We made it to the Houston Zoo (short visit- it was soooo hot). Saturday we met the Elledges, Yates' and Daigles in Galveston at Moody Gardens. We spent several hours there and then on the way out of the park, Marshall fell asleep on the walk to the car. Aaron drove (the three of) us around to see Galveston while Marshall napped. The beach house was gone :( it was so weird to see the changes in Spanish Grant. Then we headed back to Pearland and had dinner at a restaurant with a huge sandbox and a cow statue- both of which were big hits. Sunday Nicole, Vanessa and I took the boys to Herman park and we rode the train twice and played in the park. Later Scott grilled out at the house... the kids swam and played with trains and the dads took them to see the ducks. Monday we went to the Millers pool which was like a water park, but free (for us anyway- thanks for your HOA fees Millers ;P). Marshall was super brave and went up the stairs to the slide multiple times and slid down by himself. I am not sure that all of that confidence is a good thing. Needless to say, it was an exhausting but fantastic weekend for all of us. We love spending time with our friends and wish that we all lived closer.
Haley and Erin are missing because they are hunting for an "approved" floatation device.

Y'all got some cute pictures. Scott pointed out that there's some random kid behind me in the group picture at Moody Gardens--it looks like he's trying to undo my bathing suit top.

I always look for my "Marshall fix" for the day. Love seeing everyone. Marshall has friends for life. Adorable....Sorry Nana didn't make it to Austin this weekend.
