C.C. Beach Trip

We went for Harper's first overnight stay away from home, and overall it was a success. They both slept off and on the whole trip- only one brief stop. We stayed in a condo on Corpus Christi Beach (we had never been to Corpus) which was great for a little digging in the sand and walking on the beach. We swam the first two days for a good amount of time.... it is a good thing we did, because that second afternoon, in came the "jellies". We ate good seafood, hit the pool a few times, toured the USS Lexington and went to the Texas State Aquarium. It was exhausting for Aaron and I in a one bedroom condo: naps were good for Harper, Marshall- not so much; night sleeping was good for Marshall, Harper- not so much. Whew, I still haven't caught up!! The drive home, not as great as the drive to the beach, but we made it! We all had a fantastic time and can't wait to venture to new beach destinations in the future!
